Hispanas Unidas is a San Antonio based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of and for women, girls, and the San Antonio community. Founded in 1983 by then city councilwoman, Maria Antonietta Berriozabal, and other local leaders, Hispanas Unidas strives to provide support to girls, their advancement, and that of their community.

The Hispanas Unidas - Escuelitas program is a leadership and mentoring program serving girls ages 8-14 in 7 schools located on the West & Southeast areas of San Antonio. At Escuelitas, we’re preparing girls to become tomorrow’s leaders who achieve their goals, make positive choices, and honor themselves, their families, their communities, and their culture.
